Our group strives to improve our understanding of the immune response in breast cancer and how it can be manipulated to the benefit of the patients. This work involves studies designed to understand the functionality and subpopulations of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes present as well as their organization in peritumoral tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS). In order to investigate the function of TLS, laser microdissection has been performed in GIGA Cell Imaging and Flow cytometry platform. The accessibility and expertise of the facility staff allowed us to efficiently dissect our structures. We are really satisfied by this platform and we will it considered for future projects.
