High content microscopy
High-content screening (HCS) allows automated image acquisition and analysis to simultaneously measure of fluorescence intensity, kinetics, and morphology in living or fixed cells.
We have two HCS systems at the GIGA Cell Imaging core facility:
Incucyte S3 and Incucyte Sx5 Live Cell Analysis System
- Fully automated continuous live-cell imaging system housed within a cell culture incubator at the Cell Imaging facility.
- Allows long-term image acquisition in HD phase contrast, and/or red, orange and green fluorescence directly from cell culture flasks and plates.
- Real-time analysis of cell behavior (cell migration, invasion, 3D organotypic models...).

Nanolive CX-A
The inverted microscope utilizes holographic tomography to deliver high-quality 3D imaging of living cells without the use of dyes or fluorophores. By measuring the refractive index of cellular components, it enables precise, non-invasive observation of cellular morphology and internal processes in real time. The system supports long-term image acquisition in red, orange, and green fluorescence directly from cell culture plates or dishes.
However, it requires specific equipment for imaging, the Dish Ibidi Low Border with special Ibidi lids or designated plates, which must be ordered exclusively through Nanolive.(Nanolive CX-A technical Sheet , Booking System for the Nanolive CX-A)
