Image treatment and analysis

The most important rule to remember for image analysis is: If you put garbage in, you get garbage out! This means that the quality of image analysis is influenced by the quality of the images acquired, so for this reason we strongly advise researchers to discuss their experimental design before acquiring their images.

The platform can provide software training and help in designing image analysis workflows and macros. Where possible we preferentially use the FIJI image analysis platform, as it is free for researchers to download and use. The platform also has licenses and dedicated workstations for commercial software such as Imaris and Arivis Vision 4D.
